The May Edit
Early summer is calling - and it’s all about ease with impact. Think breezy upgrades, statement touches, and pieces that work overtime: here’s what to buy—and live in—this month.
Consider this your cue to lean into the lighter, brighter, slightly more playful side of things - this month is delivering.
Color trend report: Red is having a moment. Whether you dip a toe in with accessories or go full monochrome, there’s no shortage of options. Personally loving a woven red shoulder bag, bold wide-leg denim, and that “just a button-up” styling moment.
The collab I’m already mentally budgeting for: H&M Home x Kelly Wearstler. Teased at Milan Design Week, and it’s giving high-design meets attainable. Mark your calendars: September 3rd.
La DoubleJ continues to be my go-to for maximalist inspiration, and their new home category is so good. The Baba outdoor pouf in Doric Dusty Pink? Unreal. Aspirational, yes - but also the kind of piece that makes you rethink your entire patio. Also worth noting: their fringe printed twill scarf is elite cover-up energy.
Bimba y Lola is quietly becoming the destination for cool-girl summer. Their natural crochet ballerina flats (with stones!) are the kind of shoe that makes an outfit.
It’s officially bedding refresh season, and Boll & Branch understood the assignment. I just picked up their Hydrangea Percale Hemmed Sheets - crisp, breathable, and basically the sleep upgrade you didn’t know you needed.
The latest from Faithfull the Brand is very good. A green silk set is currently at the top of my list- paired with a mint light knit for those in-between evenings.
The rise of the easy pant continues - and honestly, we’re not mad about it. The LESET Kyoto pant is leading the charge, but the J.Crew Luna pant is a strong (and slightly more accessible) contender.
Flip-flop season has entered the chat. Loeffler Randall is doing elevated essentials so well right now- especially the Lina Embossed Leather flip flop. Easy, polished, and pairs perfectly with (you guessed it) the easy pant.
And finally, a little skincare gamble: I just ordered the Dubose Re-Du Serum. Reviews are promising, expectations are high, and I’m ready for main-character skin. Stay tuned.
I’m not typically an incense person, but these Flyaway sticks have completely converted me. They smell so good and double as bug repellent (a rare win-win). Just pop them into your yard or a planter and let them do their thing—effortless ambiance.
Edit, elevate, enjoy - and I’ll report back next month.
